One world, one people, one life, Join us in transforming lives of underpriveleged children
SHARE envisions a harmonious world where all beings are interconnected, fostering solidarity and honoring the richness of diverse cultural identities. We stand against the destructive forces of imposed globalization, instead advocating for a global network rooted in sharing, mutual respect, and unity.
Through this vision, we aim to build a world where collective well-being transcends borders, and the value of every culture is celebrated in a spirit of global harmony.
SHARE’s projects are driven by a deep sense of personal purpose and the unwavering dedication of volunteers who generously contribute their skills. We believe that every act of solidarity not only supports others but also fosters mutual growth and transformation. Through our collective efforts, we empower individuals and communities, embodying the change we aspire to see in the world.
SHARE supports initiatives that promote equitable and balanced lifestyles, prioritizing the Common Good, strengthening community connections, and enhancing human capabilities while honoring environmental sustainability. We advocate for de-growth and sustainable models that challenge the culture of excessive consumption, focusing instead on creating long-term well-being for both people and the planet. Our approach seeks development that enriches lives while respecting the delicate balance of our shared world.
SHARE is committed to empowering all participants in solidarity projects, recognizing their inherent value and fostering collaborative, mutually beneficial solutions. We focus on removing the barriers that prevent individuals and communities from expressing their full potential, rather than imposing external value systems. Through this approach, we aim to create spaces where the unique contributions of each person are acknowledged and celebrated, promoting authentic, equitable growth for all.
SHARE champions a culture of sharing the common good as a solution to global imbalances, where a small few consume the majority of resources while many endure poverty. We believe that true harmony, peace, and human solidarity are founded on the principles of equitable sharing, ensuring that resources are distributed fairly and that all individuals have the opportunity to thrive. Through this vision, we strive to foster a world where collective well-being takes precedence over individual excess, creating a more just and compassionate global community.
Education offers a vital alternative to child labor and exploitation, providing a pathway to break free from the cycles of ignorance and poverty. It is the foundation upon which a better future can be built. This is why we are dedicated to establishing schools and offering educational support to hundreds of students, ensuring they have the opportunity to thrive and realize their full potential. Through our commitment to education, we empower individuals and communities to create lasting positive change.
To create meaningful opportunities for decent work and enhance the living standards of the most vulnerable families, we offer vocational training courses, support the promotion of crafts, and foster small cooperative enterprises. This includes providing access to non-profit credit to help these initiatives thrive. By empowering individuals with the skills and resources needed for sustainable livelihoods, we aim to foster economic independence and improve the quality of life within underserved communities.
Through the collaboration of doctors, therapists, and healthcare professionals, we implement projects that prioritize the common good of health. Our initiatives include medical assistance, workshops, seminars, and training courses that provide accessible yet effective tools. These efforts are designed to enhance the health resources within local communities, leveraging and building upon the strengths of local cultures to promote long-term well-being.
We believe that the preservation and respect for cultural biodiversity is essential to the evolution of society. Each community's cultural heritage is a valuable treasure of humanity, and it is crucial to protect and nurture these traditions. For this reason, we are dedicated to safeguarding and promoting their free development through the establishment of Centers for the Culture of the Common Good. These centers serve as spaces to celebrate and sustain cultural diversity, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of the unique legacies that enrich our global community.
Small in scale yet impactful in its reach, SHARE's journey is a testament to our unwavering commitment to solidarity, service, and the Common Good. Rooted in purpose and driven by a deep sense of responsibility, we strive to make a meaningful difference, fostering a spirit of collaboration and support that transcends boundaries.
SHARE was officially founded as "Share Urumuri Ass Tubasange," although its voluntary efforts began even earlier. The journey commenced with a focus on providing financial and educational support to orphans and children from underprivileged families in Rwanda, helping them access quality education and healthcare. In addition to these efforts, SHARE emphasized teaching the values of sharing, fostering a spirit of solidarity and mutual support among the younger generation.
In the aftermath of the genocide, SHARE has focused its efforts in Rwanda on education, healthcare, cooperative workgroups, and youth empowerment. Guided by the principle of Ndi Umunyarwanda, which promotes unity and solidarity, SHARE works to foster healing, resilience, and collective responsibility, helping communities recover and rebuild from the past.
